Turkish Folklore Research Journal Publication Policy

Journal of Turkish Folklore Research Association, folklore, original and theoretical research and analysis in the fields of literature and anthropology, It includes review, book review and translation articles. The abbreviated version of the journal TFA; the journal also includes New Approaches, From TFA Archive to Today, Events - Related articles can also be published under the headings of Events - What Happened. The journal is published two issues a year in January,  and June.  Article acceptance and publication period cannot exceed 6 months.

The language of the journal is Turkish and English.  TFA is a completely free journal. There is no charge for article submission to the journal.

TFA, an open access electronic journal all researchers worldwide have full access to the published articles. and can access it without paying any subscription fee. All articles submitted for publication are reviewed by the field editors board and referees.

Manuscripts submitted for publication in the journal must not have been published elsewhere before. Studies that have been previously presented at conferences and whose abstracts have been published may be accepted, provided that this is stated. In addition, if the study is supported by an institution or produced from a thesis, this should be indicated in the note at the end of the study.

All articles submitted to TFA must have a plagiarism check report before publication. The similarity rate is 15%. Articles below the similarity rate are accepted for publication. Manuscripts that do not have a report, exceed this rate or have unethical behaviours are rejected.

Manuscripts submitted for publication in our journal should be prepared according to the journal's writing rules. The writing rules and the related template can be found in the "Journal Article Template" link.

If there are any previously published quotations, articles, tables, pictures, etc. in the article, the author of the article must obtain written permission from the publishing right holder and authors and indicate this in the article.The author(s) is responsible for whether the necessary permissions have been obtained.

The legal responsibility arising from the content of the studies published in the journal belongs to the author(s).The journal does not accept any legal responsibility for these issues.The published articles are archived in the journal website and Han Software (Istanbul).
